List of Costa Rican ambassadors in Yugoslavia
Alexander I and Cleto González Víquez established consular relations in 1928.
On May 4, 1934, Leonid Pitamic , Ministre plénipotentiaire of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, and Manuel González Zeledón signed the Convenio González-Pitamic , a trade agreement in Washington, DC .
On June 11, 1992, the Miguel Angel Rodríguez Echeverría government broke off diplomatic relations with the government in Belgrade. The governments in Belgrade were not recognized as heirs to the former Yugoslavia. The ambassador in Vienna is currently also regularly accredited in Belgrade .
