The railway bridge of the former Bürstenbach middle station was built in 1832 by Matthias Schönerer for the stretch of the Budweis – Linz – Gmunden horse-drawn railway . On August 6, 2000, the bridge was destroyed by a flood. In 2008 it was rebuilt.
