The parish church of Großraming (St. James the Elder) is first mentioned in a document around 1200, the parish elevation took place in 1392. Today's sacred building was built from 1513 and has a late Gothic, single-nave, four-bay, vaulted nave. In 1936 this was extended by 1 yoke to the west. The choir is baroque and has two bays; the semi-elliptical end is dated to 1691. The frescoes are attributed to the workshop of Bartolomeo Altomonte . The tower is from 1515 with a baroque helmet from 1739. The high altar is from 1691, the altar sheet comes from Carl von Reslfeld .

The former forester's house is one of the few functional buildings that have remained unchanged and that were typical of this region. The building was in 1847 by the Forestry Department of the rule Lamberg built. It served as the official residence and home for foresters and forest workers.
