The parish church hll. Maria and Oswald is first mentioned in a document around 1200. Originally an east-facing , late Gothic church from the end of the 15th century. After severe storm damage, it was decided in 1886 to rebuild the church. From 1891, according to plans by the architect Raimund Jeblinger , a new nave with a choir was built in a neo-Gothic style and was ceremoniously consecrated on September 29, 1898 by Diocesan Bishop Franz Maria Doppelbauer . The choir from the previous church was retained and integrated as the eastern side chapel. The mighty tower is also from the previous church and received in 1931 a new spire . The magnificent altar of grace is already documented in 1688, it was changed several times, most recently in 1908. The sculptures are Hans Spindler the Elder. J. and his journeymen Georg Ländterl and Urban Remele. The (almost life-size) statue of grace Mary with the child is dated around 1450.
