Parish documented in 1203. 1898 to 1902 Demolition of the Romanesque-Gothic church except for the Gothic tower substructure. New building (neo-renaissance) by master builder Johann Pascher. Main axis north-south, wall pillar church with chapels and galleries. High tower next to the facade.
