The parish church of St. John the Baptist was built between 1753 and 1758 and represents the main work of the Marburg master builder Johann Fuchs . Its oval church interior is vaulted by a mighty flat dome. The triple concave curved west facade is surmounted by a two-story tower. The stained wood high altar contains statues and an altarpiece from the 2nd half of the 18th century.
