The late urn fields and Hallstatt high altitude settlement on the Burgstallkogel ( 458  m ), the Sulmtal necropolis to the west with around 700 tumuli that are still recognizable today (the original number is estimated at 2000 tumuli) and the 4 princely graves of Kleinklein ( Kröllkogel , Pommerkogel and Hartnermichlkogel (2 × )) together form an essential site of the Osthallstatt culture.

The settlement and necropolis extends around the Burgstallkogel over the cadastral communities Burgstall, Goldes and Mantrach and parts of the community Gleinstätten .

The parish church, surrounded by the cemetery, was rebuilt in the 2nd half of the 17th century to include an older north tower. A narrower two-bay choir adjoins the three-bay nave. The high altar dates from around 1770–1780.

Located in the wide Sulm valley and built from the beginning of the 17th century, Ottersbach Castle is the successor to Mantrach Castle, which at that time was already in ruins. The baroque palace consists of two wings that meet at an obtuse angle. A museum is now housed on the first floor of the main building.
