List of changed place names in Guinea-Bissau after 1974
Some of the original Portuguese place names ( exonymic colonial oikonyms ) in the former Portuguese colony of Guinea-Bissau were given new names as part of the decolonization efforts after independence in 1974.
While not complete, the main renaming are listed below, by regions sorted.
