This list is the Indonesian ambassador to East Timor . The embassy is located at Rua Karketu Mota-Ain 02, Aitarak , Motael , Vera Cruz , Dili .

Relations between the two countries are generally considered to be good, despite various problems and past burdens. Numerous agreements regulate cooperation in different areas. Although Indonesia has had a diplomatic mission in East Timor since the independence of East Timor in May 2002, Ahmed Bey Sofwan was the first ambassador to be appointed in 2003.
