List of Goethe's doctors
Goethe's health was never the best. The following list does not claim to be complete. Not least because the large number of doctors who treated Goethe during his numerous baths were not all recorded by Goethe. However, the numerous statements Goethe made about the doctors treating him reveal that the celebrated poet prince mostly remembered them gratefully. In general, his interest in medicine is well known. In addition to his numerous complaints, he also had severe toothache. However, Goethe apparently didn't think much of regular dental care.
