Live in Offenbach 1978 is a concert recording by the band Weather Report .
General
The concert was recorded on September 29, 1978 as part of Rockpalast in the Offenbach town hall , three months before the Grammy-winning live album 8:30 . The structure of some tracks like Teen Town differs significantly between the two albums.
The recordings were first released in 2006 as a DVD together with 3 CDs in the Forecast: Tomorrow box and released as a single DVD in 2011 after the 40th anniversary of the band's founding by the Zawinul heirs.
The recording is available on CD and DVD.
