Liviu Dorin Băjenaru (born May 6, 1983 in Ploieşti ) is a Romanian football player . He has been under contract with Juventus Bucharest since summer 2016 .

Career

Băjenaru started playing football at Conpet Ploieşti in his hometown at the age of ten. After going through all youth teams, he joined local rivals Petrolul Ploieşti in 2004 . There he came in Divizia B in the 2004/05 season only three appearances, he that to Conpet returned, which in Divizia C played. In early 2006 he took another attempt at Dunărea Giurgiu in the second Romanian division. He came to 16 missions in the second half of the 2006/07 season . After half a year with Dodu Bucharest in the third division, second division FC Progresul Bucharest took him under contract in early 2008 . Here, too, he was able to establish himself as a regular player.

In early 2009, Gloria Bistrița brought Băjenaru to League 1 . He was able to fight for a regular place in the 2009/10 season and secured his place in the class with his club. After Gloria had to relegate to Liga II at the end of the 2010/11 season , he left the club and joined record champions Steaua Bucharest . In August 2011, however, he moved on to Astra Ploieşti . In the summer of 2012 he was hired by league competitor Oțelul Galați . There he was only used irregularly in the following two seasons. In summer 2014 he moved to CS Concordia Chiajna . In March 2015, he left the club and joined Gaz Metan Mediaș , having previously only made six appearances. At Gaz Metan, he came four times and had to relegate at the end of the 2014/15 season . In League II he stayed with the club and had his share of the rise . In the summer of 2016, he moved to second division Juventus Bucharest . From 2018 to 2019 he was active for Turris-Oltul Turnu Măgurele . For the 2019/20 season, Băjenaru moved to fourth division team Steaua Bucharest .
