Liz Sutherland

Liz Sutherland (actually Elizabeth Ann Sutherland, nee Toulalan; born January 5, 1947 ) is a former British sprinter and hurdler .

At the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 , she was eighth over 100 m and was eliminated over 200 m in the semifinals. With the Scottish team, she was fourth in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

In 1978 she reached the semi-finals at the European Athletics Championships in Prague over 400 m hurdles .

Over 400 m hurdles she became English champion in 1977 and British champion in 1978 and over 60 m hurdles in 1976 English indoor champion. She was three times Scottish champion over 100 m hurdles (1967, 1968, 1975), twice over 400 m hurdles (1977, 1978) and once each over 200 m (1977) and in pentathlon (1967).
