Lyubov Ushakova ( Russian Любовь Ушакова , English transcription Lyubov Ushakova; born September 20, 1997 ) is a Kazakh sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter distance .

Athletic career

Lyubow Uschakowa gained her first experience in international championships at the Asian Youth Games in Nanjing in 2013 , where she was eliminated in the first round over 200 meters. Then she took part in the Youth World Championships in Donetsk and failed there over this distance in the run-up. The following year, she took part in the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing and finished fifth in the 400-meter run in the B final. In 2016, she took part in the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City and was sixth in the 200-meter run in 25.07 s , with the 4-by-400-meter relay in 3: 55.08 min Fourth and fifth with the 4 x 100 meter relay.

In 2018 she took part with the relay at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham , where she did not qualify for the final with 3: 40.54 min. At the end of August she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and finished sixth with the 4 x 400 meter relay

In 2018 Ushakova became the Kazakh champion over 400 meters. She is completing a teacher training course in sports at the State University of Karagandy .
