Lyudmila Nikojane ( Armenian Լյուդմիլա Նիկոյանը , English transcription Liudmila Nikoyan ; born August 1, 1979 in the Soviet Union ) is an Armenian former tennis and active beach player .
Career
Nikojane, who preferred to play on clay courts, started playing tennis at the age of nine.
She won five ITF Women's Circuit double titles during her career . In qualifying, she reached the Volvo Women's Open 2002 for the first time a main round of a WTA tournament, together with Julija Wakulenko with doubles, where they lost in the first round to Silvija Talaja / Marlene Weingärtner 2: 6 and 2: 6.
Between 2001 and 2010 she played for the Armenian Fed Cup team , where she was 21 times victorious in 28 matches.
She played her last tennis tournament in August 2010. She has been playing beach tennis since 2013, where she has already celebrated 36 titles.
