The hole of the North Haa , including North-haa hole , is a lake ( hole ) in the north of Mainland , the main island of about Scotland scoring Shetlands . Like the Loch of Beith , a few hundred meters to the east, it is separated from the southeastern bay of Burra Voe , part of the Yell Sound , by an Ayre , a pebble beach that takes the form of a spit . Both thus represent a lagoon . On the land side in the north and west is the village of North Roe .

The name refers to the North Haa , a larger farmhouse to the east that is listed as a listed building . The area of ​​the triangular hole is about one hectare , its water code number is 200450.
