Logi Geirsson (born October 10, 1982 in Reykjavík ) is a former Icelandic handball player . He is 1.90 m tall and weighs 94 kg.

Geirsson, who last played for the FH Hafnarfjörður and ran up for the Icelandic men's national handball team, could be used as left winger , back left or back center .

Career

Geirsson started playing handball at FH Hafnarfjörður in Iceland. In 2004 he moved to TBV Lemgo in the 1st  handball league . In 2006 and 2010 he won the EHF Cup with the Lippern . In 2010 he returned to Hafnarfjörður. With Hafnarfjörður he won the Icelandic Championship in 2011. Due to repeated shoulder injuries, he then ended his career.

Logi Geirsson played 97 international matches for the Icelandic men's national handball team, in which he scored 289 goals. With Iceland he won the silver medal at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing .
