Logie Coldstone ( Gaelic : Lògaidh ) is a village in the Scottish Council Area Aberdeenshire and capital of the Parish of the same name . It is about 35 kilometers south of Huntly and 50 kilometers west of Aberdeen . The nearest town is Dinnet, six kilometers south . Logie Colstone is on the western edge of the Cairngorm Mountains near Morven Crowe .
Logie Coldstone is located directly on the A97 , which connects the village to the trunk road network. The village does not have a rail connection. In addition to the listed Newkirk of Logie Coldstone Church, Logie Coldstone also has an elementary school.
