The de-registration is the notification to a system or a person of the following absence.

Computer system

As a user logoff ( English logout and log-off sign-off referred to, etc.) the process by which a user of a computer system logs (neudeutsch logout ).

Usually the purpose of the process is to notify the system that a legitimate user has ended his session . The reverse process of logging in is called login (user login ).

In addition to an explicit logout, the logout process can also be time-controlled, e.g. B. after a certain period of inactivity.

With password-protected websites, a logout function is used to delete session-specific data (e.g. cookies ) and gives the user more security, especially in environments with changing users (e.g. Internet cafés ).

Business

If it is certain that a trade is clearly giving up its operation, this must be de-registered in accordance with Section 14 (1) GewO .

Reporting

According to § 17 BMG, there is an obligation to register or de-register. Deregistration applies when moving out of an apartment. If you move abroad, you have to de-register at the residents' registration office within 2 weeks; If you move within Germany, you will be deregistered i. d. Usually automatically when you register at your new place of residence .

Transportation

In an out traffic reduction of motor vehicles they are after the approval logged off at the traffic authority. Deregistration is expressly mentioned in Section 9 Paragraph 3 Clause 6 No. 2 FZV . If the vehicle tax is not paid, the deregistration can be done ex officio according to § 14 KraftStG .

Utilities
