The Bürener Lohmühle was a Lohmühle on the southern outskirts of Büren (Westphalia) , which was powered by the water power of the Afte . It was located about 500 meters from the old town on today's state road L 549 to Hegensdorf .

history

The Lohmühle belonged to the Bürener guild of white and tanners . The mill operated until 1914. It was used to soften leather. Since it was closed in 1914, the mill has fallen into disrepair, so that it is no longer preserved today. Another mill was built 300 meters to the south, this was used as a Bürener sawmill .
