Local sentence in the Spanish language

Under a local set or local set , oración local is understood in the grammar , a special form of a adverbial subordinate clause ( protasis ), oración subordinada adverbial . Local clauses are the subordinate clauses which, in the main clause, have the syntactic function of an adverbial definition for a direction, a place or also an area of extension ( extension ) of the facts or circumstances described in the main clause. - example:

 Der Kahn trieb, wohin ihn der Wind trieb.

Explanation

A compound sentence with a subordinate connection leads to a sentence structure . In general there are three types:

the subordination with noun function, subordinadas sustantivas ;
the subordination with adjective function, subordinadas adjetivas ;
the subordination with adverbial function, subordinadas adverbiales .

The conditional or conditional clause, oración condicional, belongs to the latter class.

The adverbial subordinate clauses, in turn, can be divided into two groups. When distinguishing between the two groups, it can be seen for the first group that the subordinate clauses can be replaced by adverbs of time, place or manner. Here is an example of a temporal sentence, oración temporal :

 La fiesta acabó cuando se hizo de noche.
 La fiesta acabó entonces.

Or for the local phrase, oración local :

 Iré donde quieras.
 Iré allí

Or for the modal sentence, oración modal :

 Hazlo como te dije.
 Hazlo así.

In contrast, this is not possible in the second group.

Te aprobaré aunque no conduzcas. Dir ich werde genehmigen obwohl nicht du autofährst.
Si vienes, te invito a desayunar. Wenn du kommst, dich ich einlade zum frühstücken.
Lo hago para que nades. Ich tue es damit du schwimmest.
Miente más que habla. Er lügt mehr als spricht.

A local sentence defines a place , a locality stands for the determination of the circumstances of the place, it promises places of events and directions and gives information about the place and the goal of an action. So in German you can use the local adverbs , adverbios de lugar “woher”, “woin”, “wo” as a subjunction and the circumstantial words as correlates . The local clauses (Protasis) provide information about it: "Where?", "Where to?", "Where from?" A fact or event in an action in a main clause (apodosis) occurs or could occur or which direction the events take or take. - example:

La gaceta está donde lo dejaste. Die Zeitung ist wo sie du hinlegst.
