The London Welsh RFC (officially London Welsh Rugby Football Club , Welsh : Clwb Rygbi Cymry Llundain ) is an English rugby union club that plays in the Greene King IPA Championship , the second highest division in England. The home games are played at Old Deer Park in Richmond , London .

The association was founded in 1895. So far, 177 Welsh internationals have emerged from it, as well as 43 British and Irish Lions , including famous players such as John Dawes , JPR Williams and Gerald Davies . In 2006, those responsible tried to obtain admission to the multinational Magners League , but this has so far not been successful. Since you are not only a member of the English Rugby Football Union , but also the Welsh Rugby Union , it would have been possible to play as another Welsh team against the Irish and Scottish teams.
