Lore Noack-Heuck

Ellen-Lore Noack-Heuck , b. Heuck, (born December 25, 1901 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein , † June 6, 1973 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German art historian .

Lore Heuck was the daughter of the chemist Dr. Richard Heuck and his wife Erna, b. Rudloff. She attended the Liselotteschule Realgymnasium in Mannheim until graduation at Easter 1921 . She then studied art history in Heidelberg , Berlin , Munich and Freiburg , where she received her doctorate on December 19, 1927 under Hans Jantzen .

In 1928 she married the art historian Werner Noack (1888–1969), from 1922 to 1953 director of the Augustinermuseum in Freiburg im Breisgau . She researched and published on the art history of Freiburg and southwest Germany.
