Lorenz Loewer (born April 11, 1900 in Bochum , † October 11, 1992 in Geldern ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending primary school, Loewer worked as an apprentice and commercial clerk in the Rhenish-Westphalian metallurgical industry until 1933. This was interrupted from 1926 to 1927 by a year abroad in the United States .

At the beginning of August 1928 Loewer joined the NSDAP ( membership number 96.382). From 1928 to 1934 he was the leader of the Westphalian Hitler Youth (HJ). In November 1929 Loewer became a member of the Bochum city parliament, to which he was to belong until March 1933. In May 1933 Loewer became a member of the Prussian state parliament and then, after its dissolution in autumn 1933, a member of the National Socialist Reichstag , in which he represented constituency 9 (Opole) from November 1933 to spring 1945.

From July 1, 1935 to July 1, 1937 he was the district leader in Opole. Then he took over the office of Gauinspector in the Gau leadership of Silesia. In November 1937 he officially resigned as Oberbannführer from the Hitler Youth. He was the holder of the Golden Decoration of Honor of the NSDAP and the Hitler Youth. From 1938 to 1945 he was district leader and district inspector in Gau Westfalen-Süd, interrupted in 1944 by the interim management of the office for resettlers in the Sudetenland .
