Lorenz Schneider (born April 10, 1990 in Krefeld ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with Neusser EV in the Regionalliga West since the 2017/2018 season.
Career
Schneider began his career in the offspring of the Krefeld Penguins , where he was active with the junior team in the German junior league from the 2005/06 season . In his first season, the defensive player scored three points in a total of 37 games and also received 41 penalty minutes. The German was able to increase his number of points in the following two years when he was able to score 13 times each time.
In summer 2008 he left his hometown Krefeld and moved to the Dutch Eredivisie with the Nijmegen Devils . After the 2008/09 season he returned to Germany and signed a contract with the upper division EHC Dortmund. There Schneider met the trainer Frank Gentges , under whom he had already worked at his two previous career stations.
