Lorenzo Antonio
Lorenzo Antonio Sánchez Pohl (born October 3, 1969 in Albuquerque , New Mexico ), who appears as an artist under his two first names as Lorenzo Antonio , is an American singer-songwriter with Mexican roots. He is the brother of the four sisters Kristyna, Rosamaria, Verónica and Carolina, who have formed the Sparx group.
Life
Lorenzo Antonio began to sing and learned to play the guitar at the age of 5 . By the age of 12, the child actor had already sold more than a million records and before he came of age he was known in large parts of Latin America and was able to establish himself as an important singer-songwriter in the course of the 1980s . Doce Rosas , which he wrote, was one of the most successful songs of 1987 in many Latin American countries and received various awards.
In the second half of the 1990s -years he took together with the group formed by his four sisters group Sparx three Mariachi - Albums on: Cantan Corridos , Cantan Corridos Vol. 2 and Para Las Madrecitas . Further joint music projects followed in the new millennium.
Due to a serious illness in the lower back, Lorenzo Antonio had to interrupt his music career for a long period in 2005. The doctors advised him to have an operation, but he refused to follow their advice. A decision that, in retrospect, turned out to be the right one. Because in 2007 he met a personal trainer who showed him the way to recovery through proper nutrition and exercise. Following his advice, Lorenzo Antonio not only made a full recovery from his back condition within the next two years, but also lost 30 pounds of fat and gained 20 pounds of muscle.
