Losa is an American metalcore band from Dallas , Texas that was formed in 2003.

history

The band was founded in mid-2003 by bassist Joshua Urista. In 2005 the debut album The Perfect Moment was released via Metal Blade Records . In order to promote the album, performances with Twelve Tribes , Dead to Fall and Fight Paris followed in May and June . In September, the band held performances with Jacknife . In October the band went on the Metal Blade Records Young Guns Tour with The Classic Struggle and The Absence .

style

The band plays complex metalcore with influences from a few other genres, with influences from bands like the early Deftones , God Forbid , Tool and Opeth being audible.
