action

Two brothers lived in Barcelona during the 16th century. Ramon trades in Egyptian artefacts and researches the family history that is in the dark. Feodor, the younger of the two, lives as a somewhat quirky inventor for the most part in his own world. The rather quiet life of the brothers suddenly takes a turn when Ramon discovers the story of their family and is kidnapped by the Inquisition. To save his brother, Feodor follows in the footsteps of the kidnappers. The journey leads via Almeria , Malta and Tripoli to the legendary oasis of Zerzura , where ancient horror watches over powerful secrets and where Feodor can unravel the secret of his origins.

Game principle and technology

Lost Chronicles of Zerzura is a 2.5D point-and-click adventure. For polygons composite, three-dimensional figures act before hand-drawn, some animated scenes. The player can use the mouse to move his character through the locations and use the mouse buttons to initiate actions that allow the character to interact with his environment. Feodor can find objects, apply them to the environment or other objects and communicate with NPCs . As the story progresses, more locations will be unlocked. The camera shows what is happening from a frontal perspective; If the player leaves the field of vision within a room, the camera moves in the respective direction. Dialogues take place via context-related selection menus. The music comes from the Hamburg Periscope Studio , where the voice recordings were made. The game uses the Protect Disc copy protection.
