Louis Friedemann Thiele (born July 4, 1981 in Munich ) is a German actor , voice actor and radio play speaker . He lives in Cologne and Munich.

life and career

Louis Friedemann Thiele comes from a family of artists. His parents are the actress Johanna Liebeneiner and the cameraman Michael Thiele . His grandparents were the director Wolfgang Liebeneiner and the actress Hilde Krahl . At the age of 13 he stood in front of the camera for the first time for the ARD television film Leise Schatten , directed by Sherry Hormann . Shortly thereafter he played a leading role in the episode in the Munich Tatort Klassen-Kampf directed by Friedemann Fromm .

After graduating from high school in 2000, he studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, USA, and completed his training in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts . Friedemann Thiele returned to Germany and played roles in productions such as Die Voices , Alphateam , Mama und Papa , Alarm für Cobra 11 , Die Rosenheim-Cops and the movie Merry Christmas , which was nominated for the Oscar for best foreign film in 2006.

From 2005 to 2008 Friedemann Thiele was a member of the ensemble at the Schauspiel Essen under director Anselm Weber, where he played as a guest until 2010. In 2008 he was nominated as the best young actor in the critics' survey of the theater magazine Theater Pur .

Louis F. Thiele has also been active as a voice actor since 2008 . In the film Final Destination 5 , he stars Sam Lawton. In the BBC series Robin Hood he speaks the continuous role of Will Scarlet and can also be heard as the lead role Feodor in the adventure game The Lost Chronicles of Zerzura . He also works regularly as a spokesperson for WDR and Deutschlandradio. Since 2012 he has played the leading role Prince Charming in the ABC series Once upon a time and the leading role Gendry in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones . In 2015 he took over the role of the protagonist Zac in the film Frequencies . In the summer of 2013 Louis Friedemann Thiele made the Austrian film Rise Up in Tyrol.
