Lothar Koring (born January 7, 1935 in Dortmund , † April 14, 2011 in Bremerhaven ) was a German lawyer and politician ( SPD ) in Bremerhaven. He was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

Koring was a member of the SPD in the Geestemünde- North local association in Bremerhaven. From 1979 to 1991 he was a member of the Bremen citizenship and worked in various deputations and committees of the citizenship, a. a. in the deputation for construction, in the deputation for economics and in the science deputation. From 1987 to 1991 he was deputy chairman of the parliamentary group and, from autumn 1988, deputy chairman of the committee of inquiry into the Gladbeck hostage drama .
