Lotte World is a largely covered theme park in Seoul , South Korea , which is the largest indoor theme park in the world according to Guinness World Records . In addition to the indoor area called Adventure , there is also an outdoor area on an island called Magic Island . Both parts of the park are connected by a monorail .

The park belongs to the Lotte Group , an international South Korean group.

Park description

Adventure

The highlights of the indoor adventure area are, also from a technical point of view, the two themed trips Pharaos Fury and The adventures of Sindbad . In addition to these two, thematically elaborate attractions, there are a few other, rather simpler attractions in Adventure , such as the Vekoma looping roller coaster French Revolution , the two water rides Jungle Adventure and Flume Ride and some 4D cinemas.

Magic Island

The image of Magic Island is shaped by a building reminiscent of Disney's Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Castle on the "magical island"

The most important attraction in this area is probably Intamin's Launched Coaster Atlantis Adventure , which opened in 2003 and whose route runs both outside and inside.

The Spinning Powered Coaster Comet Express , which opened in 1995, is from the same manufacturer . The Fantasy Dream themed ride aimed at children and the 70-meter-high Gyro Drop free-fall tower complete the offer, as do a swing tree and a haunted house .

Compared to the adventure area, Magic Island is smaller.
