Lou Seitz (born July 23, 1899 in Mannheim , † August 23, 1985 in Berlin ) was a German actress .

life and work

Seitz completed her acting training in Mannheim, then made her debut in 1921 at the Stadttheater Essen , followed by positions in Dortmund , Dresden , Wiesbaden and from 1939 in Berlin . She began her film career when the Second World War ended . She shot films in both West and East Germany, which was common with many actors at the time. However, after the borders were finally closed in the west, it remained.

She was only cast for supporting roles by the producers . So she was in In the steel network of Dr. Mabuse can be seen next to Lex Barker and Gert Frobe . In addition to feature films, she also made films for television . After she had numerous engagements in the 1950s , the film offers then decreased significantly, but Lou Seitz was occasionally used as a radio play speaker, for example in the late 1970s in the series Spuki, the bogeyman of Schloss Fürstenfurt on the Auditon label.

Seitz was married to the actor Walter Gross . She died in 1985.
