Louis-Georges Niels (born May 2, 1919 in Brussels , † February 16, 2000 in Miami , Florida / United States ) was a Belgian bobsleigh athlete .
Career
Niels took part in the first Olympic Winter Games in St. Moritz in 1948 after the Second World War. Together with Max Houben , Marcel Leclef and Jacques Mouvet he won the silver medal in the four-man bobsleigh and with Marcel Leclef took 10th place in the two-man bobsleigh competition.
resignation
After the end of his career , Niels emigrated to the United States and ran a restaurant in Miami .
