Louis Arrighi de Casanova
Erneste-Louis-Henri-Hyacinthe Arrighi de Casanova, Duke of Padua (born September 26, 1814 in Paris , † March 28, 1888 ibid) was a French politician .
Life
He was a son of General Jean Toussaint Arrighi de Casanova , Duke of Padua. He was in 1849 by Napoléon III. the prefect of Versailles , 1852 Requetenmeister the State Council , in 1853 the Senator appointed, served from May to November 1859 as Minister of the Interior and later became a member of the General Council of the department of Seine-et-Oise . After 1870 he was one of the leaders of the Bonapartist party and welcomed as head of it on March 16, 1874 the imperial prince who had been declared of legal age in Chislehurst , England.
Arrighi was buried in the Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris .
