Louis Chamorel
Louis Chamorel (born June 28, 1879 in Les Posses-Dessus , † December 16, 1966 in Aigle , entitled to live in Ollon ) was a Swiss politician ( FDP ).
Life
After attending secondary school from 1891 to 1895 in Bex and 1896 in Kirchberg , he became a farmer , cattle breeder and winegrower .
He sat in the National Council from 1919 to 1930 and in the Council of States from 1931 to 1942 .
Chamorel held various board memberships as well as seat on committees at Crédit Foncier Vaudois, mines and salt pans of Bex, Avançon power plants and the Vaudois and Swiss Cattle Breeding Association. He was the founder and from 1942 to 1958 President of the Association of Vaudois shooting societies.
He was a brigadier in the Swiss Army .
