Luís Mesquita de Oliveira , called Luisinho , (born March 29, 1911 in Rio de Janeiro , † December 27, 1983 ibid) was a Brazilian national soccer player .

career

Luisinho played mainly for São Paulo FC in his career. With 145 goals is the sixth best goalscorer in the history of the club. He scored 123 goals for Palmeiras from São Paulo and is the ninth-best scorer in their history. For these two clubs together he won the state championship of São Paulo seven times.

As a member of the Brazilian national team, he took part in the soccer world championships in 1934 and 1938 . In addition, there were further assignments at the Campeonato Sudamericano in 1937 and numerous unofficial games. The following appearances in the national team are proven.
