Luc Ayang

Luc Ayang (* 1947 in Doukoula ) is a former Cameroonian politician . He served in some areas of government.

He attended primary and secondary schools in Doukula and Ngaoundéré and graduated from high school. In the same year he began studying law and economics at the University of Yaoundé , which he successfully completed in 1972. In 1974 he worked as an administrative officer. Ayang later served in the Administrative and Legal Affairs Department of the General Secretariat until he became Minister of Animal Husbandry, Industry and Fisheries in 1978. In this position, Luc Ayang served four terms. In 1983 Ayang finally became Prime Minister of the country, which was the high point of his political career. He was head of government for one year, from August 22, 1983 to August 25, 1984, when he was replaced by Sadou Hayatou .

Luc Ayang is married and has three children.
