Sadou Hayatou
Sadou Hayatou (born February 15, 1942 in Garou ; † August 1, 2019 ) was a politician from Cameroon .
Hayatou was born and raised in Garou, Cameroon. After attending primary school , he continued his education in France , where he attended school in Toulouse . He then began his studies, which he finished with a Bachelor of Science . After completing his studies, he returned to Cameroon and became director of several companies there. From 1969 to 1970 he was Vice President of an international cocoa production company.
Political career
Sadou Hayatou held several positions in the Cameroonian government. Through his economic experience, Hayatou became Cameroon's Minister of Agriculture and was in office from August 22, 1983 to August 24, 1985. He was later Minister of Finance from December 4, 1987 to December 7, 1990 . This was followed by the position of General Secretary until he was appointed Prime Minister of Cameroon on April 26, 1991 . His term of office was limited to just under a year, until April 9, 1992. He replaced Luc Ayang .
