Luca Beccari

Luca Beccari (born October 29, 1974 in San Marino ) is a politician from San Marino . He was elected Capitano Reggente (head of state) of San Marino for the term of office from April 1, 2014 to October 1, 2014 together with Valeria Ciavatta .

Beccari holds a degree in accountancy and a degree in financial management and controlling. He has been with the San Marino Central Bank (Banca Centrale della Repubblica di San Marino) since 1997 , where he coordinated the cooperation with the Ministry of Finance from 2005 to 2006 and from 2008 to 2012 (Coordinatore del Dipartimento Finanze) .

He joined the PDCS in 1993 and has been a member of the Central Committee and the Party Executive Committee since 2010. In the parliamentary elections in 2012 Beccari was elected as a successor to the San Marinese parliament, the Consiglio Grande e Generale . He became a member of the Finance Committee and the Anti-Mafia Commission.

In the parliamentary elections in December 2016, he failed to make it into parliament. He was eleven on the list of the PDCS, which won ten mandates. In March 2017 he was elected chairman of the Central Committee (Presidente del Consiglio Generale) of the PDCS.

Beccari lives in Serravalle , is married and has one son.

Awards

Beccari was awarded the Grand Cross with Grand Chain of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic on June 4, 2014 .
