Anna Maria Muccioli

Anna Maria Muccioli (born August 15, 1964 in San Leo ) is a politician from San Marino . She was elected Capitano Reggente (Head of State) of San Marino for the term of office from October 1, 2013 to April 1, 2014 together with Gian Carlo Capicchioni .

Muccioli graduated from law school in 1994 and is a member of the San Marinese Bar Association. After graduating, she was an advisor to the Minister for Territory, Environment and Agriculture. In 2006/07 she headed the Executive Secretariat of the State Government, in 2009 she was a senior member of the Advisory Commission and in 2011 she became Director of the San Marinese Social Security ISS.

From 2003 to 2008 she was Capitano (Mayor) of Chiesanuova . In 2006 and 2008 she ran as an independent candidate on the PCDS list in the elections to the San Marinese parliament, the Consiglio Grande e Generale , but did not win a mandate. In 2008 she joined the PCDS, but in the 2008 election again failed to make it into parliament. On April 27, 2011, she replaced the resigned MP Alessandro Scarano in the Consiglio Grande e Generale. She was elected to parliament in the 2012 elections. She is a member of the Permanent Interior Committee and a delegate to the Interparliamentary Union . From 2011 to 2013 she was a member of the anti-mafia committee of inquiry (Commissione antimafia della Repubblica di San Marino) from May 2012 to February 2013 she was the committee chairman.

Mucchioli lives in Chiesanuova , is married and has two children.
