Luca Mazzanti
Luca Mazzanti (born February 4, 1974 in Bologna ) is a former Italian cyclist .
Mazzanti turned pro in 1997. He has been driving for Ceramiche Panaria since 2003 . He is a good sprinter and can get over small hills well, which makes him an excellent man for classic one-day races. But he was also able to finish the Giro d'Italia several times among the top 20 in the overall ranking. 2005 was his most successful year so far. He won three one-day races and finished seventh in the UCI Europe Tour . He also won a stage of the Giro d'Italia at the green table. The fastest of the day, Paolo Bettini , bumped Baden Cooke against the gang in the final sprint.
At the end of 2013 he ended his career as a professional cyclist.
