Lucas Mäurer (born October 17, 1994 in Gera ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Mäurer began with volleyball in his Thuringian homeland at the Dörffel high school in Weida and at the sports high school in Erfurt . As a 15-year-old he played in the Regionalliga at VC Gotha . He later played at VC Olympia Berlin and TSGL Schöneiche in the 2nd Bundesliga North. The external attacker came to third division TKC Wriezen in 2017 via SG Rotation Prenzlauer Berg and TSV Spandau Berlin .

Career Beach

In 2010 Mäurer started playing beach volleyball. In addition to several Thuringian youth championship titles, he achieved third place at the German U19 championship in Kiel in 2012 alongside Brar Ketelsen . In 2014 Mäurer played with Chris Warsawski , in 2015 and 2016 with Felix Göbert and in 2017 with Toni Hellmuth at national tournaments. Former indoor national player Dirk Westphal has been Mäurer's partner since 2018 . In the Techniker Beach Tour , Mäurer / Westphal took third place in Sankt Peter-Ording and in Zinnowitz . At the German championship in Timmendorfer Strand they landed in fifth place.
