biography

Mazzotti competed in her first FIS races in December 2000. She first started in the European Cup in February 2003, and achieved her first victory in the downhill run from St. Moritz on January 18, 2007. This brought her to third place in the 2006/07 season the downhill classification. In 2006 and 2007 she was Italian combined champion .

In the World Cup , Mazzotti started for the first time on December 1, 2006 in the downhill from Lake Louise and immediately won World Cup points with 29th place. Due to injury, she could not contest any races in the entire 2007/08 season. The 2008/09 season also ended after another injury in January. On December 20, 2009, she finished 24th in the Super-G of Val-d'Isère for the second time in the World Cup points. Shortly afterwards she suffered a cruciate ligament rupture during training , which is why she had to end the season early again. In the winter of 2010/11, Mazzotti was injured. She won once, as 24th in the super combined in Tarvisio on March 4th, World Cup points and was three times among the top ten in the European Cup. At the end of the season, Mazzotti ended her career.
