Lucius Aurelius Orestes († 103 BC ) was a in the 2nd century BC. Living politician of the Roman Republic . He came from the plebeian family of the Aurelians .

Orestes was probably the son of the consul of the same name from 126 BC. Around the year 106 BC. BC he held the praetur . 103 BC BC he officiated as consul , with Gaius Marius as a colleague. The latter held the highest office of state for the third time this year. Orestes died while he was still in office. Otherwise nothing is known about his life.
