Lucius Carl Joseph Andreas von Neergaard also called Lucius Bruun von Neergard (born May 17, 1797 at Gut Eckhof , † July 9, 1881 ibid) was a German politician .

Life

Neergard was the third son of Jens Peter Bruun Neergard (December 7, 1764 - January 7, 1848) and Henriette Caroline Elisabeth Baudissin.

Neergard studied law at the University of Göttingen and completed his studies with the graduation to the Dr. iur. In 1835 he became state deputy for the aristocratic / larger estates and, in 1842, vice-president of the Holstein Estates assembly . He also became a deputy of the joint Schleswig-Holstein estates in 1848 and finally chamberlain in 1854. Neergard was also the spokesman for the Schleswig-Holstein deputation in Copenhagen in 1848 for the German-minded Schleswig-Holstein movement and a member of parliament in the Frankfurt National Assembly as a member of Itzehoe .

Before his time at Gut Eckhof, Neergard married Mariaügel (born September 26, 1796 in Ringsted Klosters Fideikomiß - January 13, 1863), the wedding took place on June 3, 1821 in St. Peter's Church in Copenhagen.

The first son, Jens Ernst Bruun Neergard (April 29, 1822 - October 20, 1866) was married to Antonia Josephine Therese Countess von Baudissin (September 4, 1822 - January 8, 1855) from March 7, 1850 , but died without children. The second son Carl Erik Johan Bruun Neergaard (April 12, 1823 - June 21, 1889) inherited from his father. He married Alette Wilhelmine Moltke (born September 12, 1827) from Poland on September 26, 1827.
