Lucy Ursula Griffiths (* 10. October 1986 in Brighton , England , UK ) is a British actress . Her best-known roles are Lady Marian in Robin Hood and Nora Gainesborough in True Blood .

Career

Griffith received her education at the Roedean School , Windlesham House School , Dorothy Stringer High School and Varndean College. She was also a member of the National Youth Music Theater . She had her first important role as Lady Marian in the series Robin Hood , which she left with the death of her character at the end of the second season.

She also played a leading role in the ITV drama series Collision , before signing a talent deal with the US television station CBS in 2011. A planned at the subsidiary station The CW zombie drama entitled Awakening , in which she had the lead role, did not get beyond the production of a pilot episode, after which she was cast for the role of Nora Gainesborough in the series True Blood .
