Ludger Engelbert von Ascheberg

Ludger Engelbert von Ascheberg (also Ludolf Engelbert; * around 1630 ; † September 12, 1677 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Ludger Engelbert von Ascheberg came from the Westphalian noble family von Ascheberg and was the son of Ludger von Ascheberg zu Bying and Garthaus and his wife Anna Katharina von Brabeck . His brother Johann Heidenreich (Munster canon from 1642 to 1697) presented it on April 29, 1662 for the cathedral priest of the late canon Johann Plechelm von Rhede . With the revolt to the families Ascheberg, Brabeck, Altenbochum and Letmathe on May 24, 1662 he came into the possession of the benefice. Ludger Engelbert was also owned by the Archdeacon on the Drein. In his will of September 11, 1677, he bequeathed 300 Reichstaler each to his children. His preamble went to Christoph Alexander von Velen after his death .
