Ludovic panel

Ludovic Panel (born October 15, 1887 in Rouen ( Seine-Maritime ); died November 27, 1952 in Paris ) was a French composer and organist . He was a student of Eugène Gigout at the École Niedermeyer and later studied at the Paris Conservatory with Alexandre Guilmant . He was organist at Saint-Jacques in Dieppe (1913–1921), the Basilica Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre (1921–1943) and maître-de-chapelle of Saint-Martin-des-Champs (1943–1952). After the First World War he also worked as a cinema organist. He composed mainly for his instrument.
