Ludovic Sylvestre (born February 5, 1984 in Le Blanc-Mesnil ) is a French football player .
Club career
Sylvestre played in his youth for Amical Courvilloise, Amicale Lucé Football, Chartres FC, INF Clairefontaine, EA Guingamp and Racing Strasbourg .
In early 2005, the midfielder was signed by FC Barcelona . There the French mostly played in the Segunda División B for the B team. In the 2005/06 season he came to two appearances in the Primera División and can call himself 2006 Spanish champion.
In the summer of 2006 Sylvestre was signed by the Czech record champions Sparta Prague on the advice of Ivan Hašek . In the first half of the 2006/07 season he was often in the starting line-up, later he was mostly just a substitute. With Sparta, Sylvestre celebrated winning the double of championship and cup. In February 2008 Sylvestre was loaned to Viktoria Pilsen .
For the 2008/09 season Sylvestre moved to FK Mladá Boleslav . After 60 games for Mladá Boleslav, in which the midfielder scored twelve goals, Sylvestre moved to the Premier League promoted FC Blackpool in mid-August 2010 .
In the summer of 2013 Sylvestre moved to the new first division club Çaykur Rizespor and played here for three seasons.
