Ludvík Podéšt
Ludvík Podéšt (born December 19, 1921 in Dubňany , † February 27, 1968 in Prague ) was a Czech composer .
Podéšt studied at the Brno Conservatory with Jaroslav Kvapil and later at Masaryk University with Bohumír Štědroň . From 1947 to 1951 he worked for Radio Brno , and between 1958 and 1960 he was director of the music department of Czech television .
He composed a symphony , a symphonic poem , four orchestral suites, symphonic variations, two piano concertos and a violin concerto, chamber music works, cantatas , choral works, songs , plays and film scores.
